A month after his win at the German National Championships and after three weeks of altitude training in Kühtai with the entire Tudor Pro Cycling team, Marco Brenner was looking forward to inaugurating his beautiful jersey at Czech Tour, a four-stage race that favors punchers and climbers.

Scoring three top-10 in the last three stages, Marco ended 5th in the General Classification and won the Young Classification.

"Racing with the German Champion jersey was very special," said Marco. "I was looking forward to debut with it. We had a good altitude camp to prepare the second part of the season. So I was ambitious to show off the jersey and get some good results. I am happy with my shape and the results in the end. I am not too far off the podium and was able to be active in the race."

Strong Team Performance

Marco wasn’t the only Tudor Pro Cycling having a successful week. Maikel Ziljaard, who was back to racing after his crash at Tour de Romandie, finished 4th of the first stage decided by a bunch sprint. Also, Michael Storer ended 6th of the General Classification won by Marc Hirschi (UAE Team Emirates).
